These are not available in offline mode, however. You choose when you select the mission which faction you want to do the mission for, and get 50 xp for that faction when you complete. These can be completed in any game type, even one in progress. On the main screen when you log in, there are daily missions. I have never seen this item for trade and I have made a bunch of other stuff, like generators and whatnot and I never get this item randomly invented to use in this other research project.

How do I unlock them? Do ark upgrades and island upgrades consume storage slots on my arc? I know on islands, you can store as many of those things as you want.įinally, is there an easy way to get some of the odd items needed for research? For example there is this top tier upgrade for coal plants, I have everything but this one type of thing that it says might be traded or found from random research. I am also working on the weather control and I am sure Ill end up with the same effect meaning it will be trivially easy to get a massive positive eco balance.Ĭurrently my ark is missing a tier 2 and tier 3 slot unlock.

Basically in a 6 x 6 patch of ground I can get 60 power (the same as a coal plant) with zero ecology impact. They also only cost 12 credits in upkeep (down from 20). I can pack them right next to each other. Now those basic windmills for the Eco faction have no influence area. For example I have gotten the 3 tiers of the land-based wind farm techs. I have been researching tech like crazy and have found that stacking the same tech, all 3 tiers can be amazingly effective. How do you gain faction XP unless you “win” a scenario? Do you have to set a victory condition to get faction XP for a map?
